The Alessi Sweet Banana Sugar Castor is part of the OrienTales collection, an ongoing collaboration with Stefano Giovannoni and the National Palace Museum in Taiwan, which introduces a bit of the whimsy of 18th century ceramic trinkets while still being utterly functional and contemporary. The Sweet Banana Sugar Castor features hand decorated thermoplastic resin. Alessi, known as the Italian design factory, has manufactured household products since 1921, the stylish and fun items offered are the result of contemporary partnerships with some of the world's best designers of unique and modern home accessories.
